Janay mentioned to me that she and Nate wanted a fall color theme to their engagement shoot.  I told her there may be no better place to photograph the fall colors in California than the Eastern Sierra's in October and I just so happened to have plans to head to the town of Bishop for a few days to do just that.  Being that it would mean a 6 hour drive from San Francisco for them, I figured it would be a long shot, but I invited them to meet me there.  I was surprised, honored and excitement when they responded almost immediately, "We're in!".  Their lovable, adventurous and free-spirit attitude was proven again when they suggested that it would be fun to stand in the river for a few shots.  Janay and Nate are definitely my kind of couple.
